Car was totalled, very bad damage to the firewall. Someone bought it from an insurance auction and "fixed" it. Anyone who does proper research doesn't want it (at least not for the price they want to sell it for).

I think someone called me about the car. It couldn't pass smog they wanted to buy the complete exhaust system. Not 100% but they did say they had dynocomp headers. I would like to know as well whats wrong. It sucks the owner is probably having a bad time with a great car

Yes, it was seriously damaged, to the point where hooley didn't even want it back. I wouldn't want it either. I believe there are pictures posted of the damage somewhere on here. Hooley also said something about if whoever is in posession of the car doesn't run 100+ octane fuel the engine will be damaged.

Seriously, it wasn't that bad damage. From the pic, I don't think the engine is affected at all. Would you toss a car like that? (just me though)

Uhh, look at how far back the firewall and frame rails were pushed back. That car hit HARD.

Correct me if I am wrong, BUT wasn't the tranny going from numerous runs??? I do recall there was trans issues on the car as well.......................well before the crash.

I believe he was "talking" about putting a new trans in before the wreck. Not sure if he ever did or not. Look up his old posts. He did say in a few that the trans was slipping like crazy........
