And they're on there...
After much exploration, speculation and deliberation, I finally got some "new shoes" which I love!
Wheel Specs:
19x8.5 front, 19x9.5 rear
Tire Specs:
Hankook V12 Evo, 235/35 ZR19 front, 265/30 ZR19 rear
I still love the stock-look of my old ones (link: https://mbworld.org/forums/wheels-ti...-replicas.html, which I'll sell for a reasonable price because I don't have the garage space!), but this set helps give my car (an 05) a more updated look, IMHO. Happy viewing!

Looks fantastic Sleeper! I love the updated AMG wheels MB is offering. They keep the car from looking too outlandish but also bring a more modern feel to the car.

Very nice! Now you'll need to pick up some anti-theft lug bolts to keep them on in DC (looks like you may already have some?)! I am only half-kidding, coming from the suburbs of DC (Fairfax, VA) my pre-conceived notions of DC I am sure are incorrect. Enjoy those new wheels!

Mercedes C32 AMG
those look great! Where did you purchase them from?
Also I noticed they are a few inches larger than stock, I've never changed out rims on any of my vehicles, did you need to adjust or change anything? Does the wheel scrape when driving?

I got them from Wheel Specialists (http://www.wheelspecialists.com), based out of Scottsdale, AZ, who are (un)official sponsors / vendor participants on the forums. My sales rep was Sean, and they also worked with me to get the tires I wanted (after researching on the forums and getting feedback from other C55 drivers), and were flexible on the price (i.e., I got him to knock the wheel + tire package down like $200). They also included MB center caps, and the wheels came mounted/balanced, so all I had to do was plug & play ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Also, no spacers needed on mine, they're the exact same size & offset as my Bremmas were, and Wheel Specialists work with alot of AMG's are guarantee fitment (I got them to put that in writing). So far I've gotten nothing but compliments and thumbs up!![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Lastly, I live in the 'burbs of MD, just outside DC, so I actually avoid taking my car into the city at all costs, moreso due to potholes & crappy curbs than the thugs (if anything, I'll garage park it or take the metro!)... the one picture in the gold street light was actually in front of the White House, when I was giving an unofficial DC night tour to some relatives, lol.
Question about the springs / coilovers - am I correct in my understanding that they control the "drop" or ride height of the vehicle, and/or stiffen the suspension? Insight on this would be greatly appreciate (along with any $ estimates, if possible). Thanks!

I like them. Also, compared to the standard C class, or even a stock C32, the C55 doesn't look that bad without a drop on 19''s. I currently have 19''s with stock ride height in the picture.
