I will apoligize in Advance if my ignorance is allowing me to miss something, if so please fill in the gaps... What I don't get is, everyone says. Twin Turbo system would be too costly! But I can build my own turbo system for less than just the Kleeman Supercharger (not counting the tune) and if I were to run the same max boost as a Supercharger why can't I just get a ready made tune, such as from Kleeman? Other than that they wouldn't want to give me the tune. Does Kleeman convert the system to run MAP instead of MAF, if so you could still do that as well, I would think.

I cannot answer that. Eurocharge agreed to do the tuning. I guess we just need the parts to make it happen.

Any indication of what type of gain you might see?

I know the esp module would needed to be moved. I think some AC lines would also needed to be moved..

Any input would be great!

Let's compare engine bay photos to see differences. This is one I found online. I'll see if I can get an engine bay pic with out the air filter on the engine.

The key difference I see as far as turbo placement goes are:

Coolant tank
smog pump, might still be there
abs control unit
windshield wiper fluid

Looks similar to the kleeman intake

Thank you for the pictures, That TT engine bay looks VERY COMPLEX. Would it be smart to delete the smog pump?

I'm sure the smog pump could be deleted and all you would need to do as have the ecu coded to turn it off.

The tt clk @ Klee co, indeed had the kleemann supercharger intake/box (gutted of the supercharger parts) acting as a big intake box.

This intake box would not be needed though correct? I also see it in this picture of the C55TT. The article said he did have a sc setup before he switched over to the TT setup.

The intake box is used to act as the intake manifold to get the boosted discharge of the turbo's to each intake port of the heads. So YES, you need either the Kleemann gutted supercharger box....... oR perhaps you could just use a stock intake manifold gutted for this purpose.

Option 1.0 - Use a gutted kleemann s/c intake enclosure, but keep the intercooler installed.

Option 2.0 - Use stock intake manifold..... BUT you will want and air-air intercooler after the turbos and before the intake mani.

You're close but let me explain. There's 2 main parts to the Kleeman supercharger system.
  1. The intake manifold
  2. Supercharger itself

The intake manifold happens to have an intercooler built into it, very similar to the LS9 and LSA engines (gee Chevy where'd you get that idea from?). Remove the supercharger and you have a hole underneath the intake manifold where the blower would normally be forcing air into. Now there is no need to "gut" a supercharger casing or "box" rather they most likely fabricated an aluminum "hat" that bolts in place of the blower which serves as the mounting point for the throttle body and related vac lines.

Just imagine this being upside down and that's most likely what you'd see underneath that Kleeman intake manifold (minus their blue intercooler bungs).

So I was talking to some people that are very knowledgeable about turbo applications and gave me this plan. To custom piece a rear mount using a single T66 turbo. I need to know if the engine can handle a T66 turbo. We are going to route the exhaust together into a Y pipe going straight into the turbo. Than we will use one pipe to be the return (intake). That will go straight into the intercooler with a single outlet. Than we are going two pipes to the current airbox. I will get the box of course. Any opinions on this setup?
