Mine got some curb rash and broke. Are the C230 the same bumper for the front or is it only C55/ CLK55 specific?

Anyone got a black one for sale?

I met an employee of extreme dimensions and he admitted to the parts being low quality. How bad is it? You may be able to have it repaired.

If you want to upgrade da looks, then have a CLK63 (non-BS) bumper on your car. Look in the Forum (although, you'll need to add mods to install it):

i happen to have a black brabus front bumper sitting in my shed that i would LOVE to get rid of. PM me if you're interested in making a deal. (also have an OEM AMG rear bumper)

Yeah, I was looking at those carbon fiber lips on Ebay. They would hold the cracked plastic together. Trouble is the wife would destroy it on our drive way.

Any suggestions on where to find the "euro" bumper with the slits on the sides? Also, all the front lips for the C55 seem to be curvy, I saw one on Yuille36's E63 that was long, sharp and angular, looked very aggressive.

I had a crack in mine too, under the fog light. I repaired it with regular epoxy a few years ago and it's never been a problem since.

I'm in the same boat as you, my CF lip and bottom third of my front bumper some how got ripped off in a recent storm -- couldn't find the broken pieces on the side of the road so it's in the autobody shop now getting a new bumper cover, paint, etc. per insurance.

Having the lip was great but it was so low that if I replace this last one, it will be my third in three years -- not a cost effective mod -- looks cool though.

Edit -- yes the C55 bumper is C55/CLK55 specific -- no others will fit without custom work.
