Hello All,

Today I was driving my car as normal and I decided to floor it since I haven't in like two weeks. I got up to like maybe 60 or 70 MPH and when the car shifted it squeeked in between shifts.

In almost sounded like a belt slip of some sort.

My car is completely stock so I don't know where or why this is happening.

Any one have any ideas?

Can you reproduce the sound?

lol not really. It literally sounds like a high pitched squeek. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't.

Could be a belt or your pulley, very hard to diagnose.

Can't drive up and down a road a few times to reproduce? It might be a little more helpful if you could record it and post a video...

It's only happened twice since I've bought the car about 4 months ago so it's really rare and only happens when I'm floored which isn't very often. I'll try to make a little vid though.

Are you sure it's not tire squeak?

Yeah, that I am positive of. I have chirped the tires once before but this isn't that sound.

I've had this a couple of times when I floor it after driving normal for a while.. I get a squeak right on shift and I think it's the pulley belt or something to do with SC.

Yep, I drove it around today pretty hard and didnt get a thing... Oh well.
