STi is a good car but obviously if we wanted to spend 60K on a car to go fast and mod like crazy most wouldn't choose a C32. the new evo 8 is also low 13sec awd

what car do you drive?

Even without a C32, a true "Player" with
mad game can still get the Hotties
A C32 just shows that you have "Mad" Taste

Sixty grand??? What'd you do, buy every option they offer? As far as the STi smoking you for half the price, so what? The STi is very much a one trick pony. It's a single purpose machine and it's sole purpose in life is to go fast. If that's what you want, you bought the wrong damn car. The C32 is multifaceted. It is a stellar performer for a sports sedan and happens to have spectacular balance, but it is NOT a 10/10ths racer. While the STi will be thrilling on the track and twisting through a canyon, in the day to day grind it will be a massive penalty-box. Imagine driving cross country in one! The C32 has almost that level of performance from stock AND is comfortable enough to do a 2,000 mile drive in. If you're that worried about losing to an STi, put a pulley on or get even more radical than that. You can have all the power you want, it just all depends on how much you can afford to pay.

C32
There is simply no comparison

Hey,
Just to let you know that there is simply no comparison between a C32 versus a STi. Yup, they might be faster, but how about the built quality and the ride. Count on the depreciation too, the impreza demand in the used car market is dirt cheap.

One suggestion, like all customers in Europe demand in order to catch up with the 911, take off that limit control. Now, see who is quicker.....

Any one who can afford a C32 can buy a STi. However, not everyone who spends money on a STi can afford a C32. Life is always better when you have more choices.

no regrets...if our car is as light as the wrx, we be smoking their *** all day. But it's not, so oh well...

btw, even when limited, we still have faster top speed then the evo or the wrx sti.

anywayz, wrx sti or evo 8 are both nice cars. just that you wouldn't compare it with the C32, M3, and the S4.

you compare things that are totally differents. If I follow your thinking the S55 and CL 55 are useless because there are the E and CLK 55.

You should compare STi vs. EVO8 There is no lexury involved when you buy these 2 cars, only performance. They made for ralley on the street...fastest thing from point A to point B in any condition on/off road (unless u know how to drive them). C32 is not in that category.

Hmm...

Imagine..............

A lady, two cars outside.

One is a Mercedes-Benz.

The other is a Subaru.

She has heard of Mercedes-Benz. What's the other's name.............

Long Pause.

Subi - something.

I rest my case.

The Subaru is predicted to more reliable, both Consumer Reports and JD Power say so. Mercedes interiors aren't the best but Subaru interiors have El Cheapo written on every part. Also Car and Driver said the STi understeers pretty badly and that puts the dampers on what should be a fun car. I think the STi is a better deal but since when are Benz drivers bargain hunters?

Mercedes interiors aren't the best? Okay, in the sub $200k category of automobiles, who makes a better interior? Jaguar and Mercedes are considered the benchmarks for interior design.

And you'd get quite a bit of argument over the bargain that the C32 is. A car is not solely its horsepower and torque.

I agree, it is not! Let's talk about ride comfort, road noise, and other amenities. Not to mention class.

Who do you think better of? a guy driving a STI or a guy driving a C32?

All those things count.

Consumers rank both BMW and Audi higher in perceived interior quality than Mercedes. Moreover, I think the C32 isn't exactly at the peak of MB's interior design output.

BMW & Audi are not Subaru. I had a 95 M3, that had a POS interior compared to my current C32. My friend has an e46 330ci, and i think his interior looks very, very cheap. My friends A4 is falling apart & the leather is all cracked after about 4 years.

Your right the C32 is not at the peak of MB's interior design, you have the CLK, E, SL, CL, S all in front. In other words MB's "lesser" interior design is still better than most other car companies best interior designs.

Other than toyota...oops......i mean lexus, there is no japanese car with a better interior than MB, and that's because Lexus spends more money on interiors than on engine development, slow fockers!!!!!!

I like the C32 inteior design......the two tone leather seat are one of favorite. But sadly, you have to order, it's very hard to find at the dealership, and it takes six month to order the damn thing. Does anyone why they work so slow?
