Congratulation, is this on street tires? now you have to make it in the 11, you can beat those srt6, work on cooling, put some higher octane fuel and with cooler weather you'll be in the 11's. what was outside temp?

Congratulations. I guess now I have to make it to MIR on the 11th. BTW, from what I recall the issue was related to "consistency" and "destroy". Not about a "considerable amount". But all that old crap aside, your time is super. Really happy for you. It's the best feeling when things are happening for you at the track after putting your best effort into making these cars go faster.

stil working on the consistency. most times are running 12.2 @ 116 to 120 mph. my buddy with a srt.6 ran 4 back to back 12.0! thats consistent! he has 4 main mods, e/c tune, single needswings cai, 181 pulley and clk wheels with hoosiers. his best was a 11.9 at 115
c3 pulley, oil catch can psk, modded fuel rail, eagle dr's on clk rims needswings dual cai shuriken battery , slk55 front brake setup with lightweight 2 piece rotors stock oem exhaust and e/c tune are the mods. oops forgot to add the wavetrac. but i dont think it helps much on the 1/4. peace of mind yes but 60 ft times are the same with or without it no 185 no headers no meth no nos
btw 3/10 is what i call a destroy!

You again are twisting the original argument. But I will leave it alone. It just takes attention away from your good run. Enjoy it. 116 to 120 mph is super. I was 112-113MPH. My 60' and 330' was faster than yours but then at an 1/8 mile you are at 91.4mph and I'm was at 87. By 1000' you are at 10.2 and I was at 10.4. I hope my TCU tune will take care of some of this.

With your trap you should definitely be in the 11s with driver mod. My friend was running 12.2s@114 on street tires with a pulley and tune SRT-6.

Keep it up. You'll get there.

you have any slips showing your 120 traps? theres no way you would still be running 12's with that high of a trap speed

With heavy wheel spin he could be.. .. Its all about the 60'.. For example I ran a 12.4 @ 116+ with a 2.1 60, then managed to get a 12.2 @ 114 with a 1.8 60' but this was in higher DA than the 116+ run..

Regardless, if you hitting 120 mph trap with a good launch he should be in the 11s

Don’t be hatin’ on Lenin. His taxi is far more practical than your SRT-6 forefather.

I’m tempted to relocate this one to the R170 section. ;)

SRT-6
I witnessed the 120mph run, so it happened for sure.

He had no hook whatsoever on that run. Left lane was consistently worse than the right the whole day.

The 12.15 run was a great one... super nice launch. I believe that was early, before the D.A. took a dump on us.

I ran just for gigs, 14.83 @ 96.7

Steve's car continues to impress. Once he gets the AFR's nailed down and the NW manis installed, she'll be a rocketship. Driver mod is getting better with each pass.

Why?
At least its the same motor.. We get all kinds of talk of other motors (v12) in the w211 section.

My sarcasm is apparently lost on you. Thanks for chiming with the M113K stalwarts though.

I know this, this is why I asked for the slips. He had a 1.9 60' for his 12'2 times which means he knows how to launch. Im just curious what the time slip looked like for the 120 trap. With an ok 60's and high trap like that you would need a heavy shot of nitrous. Regardless its impressive

In a 6-speed coupe? Dang. I took my 04 Limited to the track once, best I could muster was 14.92@92.68.

4mph diff? What do you have done?
