I use walmart. I matched my paint code with their book and they had the small bottle in stock. Although black is much more simple when compared to other colors. Works like a charm.

Please, please do not use the Mercedes touch up paint kit. All it does is make a mess and make things look worse (how do I know this?) I tried Dr Colorchip recently and if you follow the process exactly it works quite well...

I have tried Dr. Colorchip on my black C55. I would give it 7/10.
What I like:
Color matching is excellent. Easy to apply. Works pretty good on road rash, just damp paint over a cotton cloth (instead of using the brush) and smear all over the rash area. You don't have to fear about making mistakes or getting it where it's not supposed to since you can easily remove the excess with the "seal-act" solution they provide with the paint.
What I don't like:
Barely works on scratches and bigger chips. It takes multiple coats to completely fill out a chip and it dries out matte (but give it a few days/weeks, it eventually polishes itself out, not sure if it was due to my wax applications though).
Their YouTube demo videos will make you think that it's a magic touch up that will make the chip completely vanish away. It's not.
If you look at it closely, the chip will still be there (just filled with body color). But you can hardly spot it from at least 4 feet away.
I think "Langka" (a different product) will do a better job at filling up the chip, but their process is more meticulous and time consuming.

I'd try the Dr. Colorship before using regular touch up paint. Regular touch up paint will only keep the scratch from rusting. The Dr. Colorship is supposed to be self leveling meaning it actually fills in the scratch to match the paint around it. If you go to their site it looks like it 's great for small stuff, like chips on the front end.

Paint Scratch team! How can you explain how my new OEM 199 Glasurit dealer touch up paint matches perfectly on the hood and trunk and wheel
areas? and yours too dark everywhere? The Dealer paint is a perfect match? Again! Please refund my money as stated in your return policy........THE CAR IS NOT FADED! and never been repainted! PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY!
Invoice: 371939
I am tired of your poor customer support!
You confidence is overwhelming!
I sent you an example of the paint sample from the same bottle you sent me.
Now you want me to send the bottle back at my expense too.
You have delayed this over a month and not resolved anything!
I am done talking with you. my words fall on deaf ears
I don't understand why you feel you are obligated to make this my problem?
You have all but called me a liar.
You screwed me out of a small amount of money and wasted my time.
I am done talking with you

Paint scratch response:
Your sample was an exact match to our factory color chip. Your paint may not match due to paint fading
(including interior painted parts), repainting or an incorrect color code. At this point, we recommend custom matching as an alternative. Please visit http s://www.PaintScratch.com/custom.html for
more information.

The Team at PaintScratch.com";

I think they use a automated response to blow off customers.
Worked on me! I won't waste anymore of their time ever again.
