I wish I could go. We leave Thursday for FL for a mini-vacation. Sounds like fun.

Did you do a burnout your first time? I dont get how you times were that bad, even on street tires.. I was even able to get a 2.0 60' on street tires in 40 degree weather two weeks ago..

i absolutely dread making excuses when it comes to crappy races, but i'll give you my conditions i was working with. first time EVER going to any sort of track. i had no clue the pavement would be that slick. my tires were ps2's that were about 6 hours old at the time (yea, i got them that morning) i had just gotten the ecu flash the day before AND i did the transmission adaptiveness reset that morning for the first time in months so i was still getting used to the power, it was basically a different car. i did not burn out. i have a video of me just mashing on the throttle on my first run ever and just going up in smoke and sideways. then it got progressively better from 16.5, then to 14.5 then it was over. i'll run MUCH better next time. my first run, my itty bitty slick 245's were at 40 psi (that's what the guys that changed my tires put them at) so i just kept on lowering them until i got to my last run where i got them to 22psi with still some wheel spin. i'll start it off at 18psi next time and feather on the throttle more and run in sport mode instead of manually trying to hit the shift points myself. live and learn fellas. can't wait to get the new car in june/july i'm sure i'll be much better at launching by then. oh and in my 14.5 second run, my friend i was running against got a 13.something time, but my trap was higher by 0.01 of a second.

You got to do a burnout for sure.. If you dont all the little rocks stick to the tires because of the vht and make it even worse.. Make sure to do a burnout next time and leave traction control on

How do I get my traction control to actually stay off. If I hit esp off if you wait a min or so to launch it will act as if it was engaged? Im thinking about running in dyno mode.. but I dont remember how to put it in dyno mode

also, if you want it to shift faster and get less lag off the line, reset the adaptiveness

Procedure:
1. Place key in "on" position, not start;
2. Fully depress the accelerator for five seconds;
3. With the accelerator full depressed, turn key to "off" position.
4. release accelerator;
5. wait at least two minutes before restarting the car
