C55 - charcoal cabin air filter location
I am not able to find the charcoal cabin air filters in my 06 C55. I pulled the cover from under the dash as instructed, but only see thermocoal/foam under there. The foam box wont budge. I don't see any other obvious screws either. No filters.
Just to be clear, I am referring to the cabin air filters that are usually in/near the heater box. Not the dust filter that is with the battery cover.
Can anyone help?

Are these the right part numbers for the dust filter and the engine air filter (05 C55)?
203 830 09 18 - dust filter
112 094 06 04 - engine air filter (I need 2 right?)
Just wanted to make sure before I place my order.
And is Parts.com really the best place to order these, or is there a cheaper but reputable MB OEM parts site that you guys use?

Can you imagine my surprise when there was a $75 line item on a recent B service for "air filters" yet my Engine has K&N's [that werent cleaned or stolen]. I about blew a gasket [no pun intended]. I asked the shop to show me this $75 filter they changed, and hilarity ensued when they showed me the cabin filter on my C32... To be fair, most of the cost was labor.
After researching Mercedes Atlanta parts database, calling my local dealer and purchasing under dashboard charcoal filters from ECS Tuning... I would assume that my car has the under dashboard filters since all of these sources say the car has them. Even this video points to them being there -
Here is what I found. (I apologize for the mess of wires) Did North American C55s have these filters or not? If not, all of these sources are incorrect.
Sometime you may see two different filters for the same application.
Often one of these filters contains activated carbon. The carbon cabin air filters still remove dust, pollen and other contaminants from the air, but they also adsorb exhaust fumes and unpleasant odors prior to entering the passenger area of a vehicle.
The charcoal in the filters is treated with chemicals and heat to give it specific odor-control properties. Charcoal traps odor- causing gases by adsorption (not absorption), and therefore holds the gases on the surface of the charcoal treated media. Because charcoal is porous, the filter has a very high capacity for trapping noxious gases.

there is a filter on top of the battery under the hood ?.
