Quick update from Atco runs on 12/5/11
It was warmer than usual for a December day with a high of 63*. Heavy fog in the morning causes us to start racing at 1:00pm. I was the only one representing the W203 platform. The rest were some C63 cars, a GTR and a modified M3. Also a local Trans Am club showed up with about 10 cars, but nothing special.
I consistently ran 12.4x but couldn’t get into 12.3x territory. Need to examine the latest TCU tune that I have. It seems like the shift at around 70 MPH causes me to drop power and the AFR spikes up to 18. The RPM at this point is above 6000. Everything else looks fine.
Will post the log file later.
So, for now no new records for me. But dodger's C63 is just amazing. 10.7

12.4 is still pretty damn good! That is weird that after the shift at 70mph your AFR spikes up to 18, I wouldn't think that a TCU tune would have an effect on your AFR...there must be something else. What do you have your car redlining at?
I would think that with the faster shift times it should give you a better e/t, but maybe the TCU tune is too minimal to make a big enough difference on the track. I need to get out to the track and log some runs.
and as for Dodger's 10.7...incredible. If he had the skinnies on up front thats gotta be a 10.6 too, insane for a N/A AMG.
