Wait the shop/person that did this swap is in Chicago?
Looking to get exhaust work done in the spring, is this an individual effort or a shop?
With Eurocharged not in Chicagoland anymore, not sure where to go.

Out-freaking-standing. I always admired how the Audi RS models had AWD.
My only complaint would be the look on my face if I saw this car at the light. I would think it was a normal C240 and wonder how it was staying with or beating me.
On second thought, I don't believe you really did this. You can prove it by swapping an AWD transmission in my C32.

@rcompart I'm just giving advice based off my experience, if my assistance isn't wanted then I'll remove myself, I'm not here to argue rather help based of any past personal experience.
Cheers!

2005 C32 4Matic - That's Not A Typo! :D
I did this to my 4Matic last year but had to resort back to my old engine for one main reason. It destroyed my transfer case, these older 4Matics, it doesn't seem that the transfer case has enough in it to take the torque and power that the engine has to deliver. I had to put back in my old E32 M112, and a used transfer case from a salvage yard.
For me I had obtained the C32 AMG engine from a buddy that worked in a salvage yard, had only 78K KM on it, ran smooth, the install from a local import shop cost about $1300, engine cost me about $900 from my guy. Overall a little over $2k great experience but didn't go for long, I was out a transfer case in the end so yeah, be cautious.
Goodluck!

I have a spare transfer case with 15k miles on it that I picked up right after I did the swap to make sure if I shelled it, the car wouldn't be down while I sourced another one as it became my daily and the t-case is still sitting in the same box it came in. I'm not saying you won't grenade one if you do the swap but I will say that I wasn't easy on mine but good judgement served me well with it's longevity. I'd say if you don't peel out from a slippery surface onto dry pavement, you should be just fine.

I'm doing one now - a SLK32 AMG engine into my C320. I posted a thread last week. All is going OK had to change the oil pumps, oit pans & engine mounts, Its bolted in now and I'm dealing with the main harness pug - I have two males and I would really like some help on this area.
