Abandoned C55 in Philly.

Abandoned C55 in Philly.
Hey guys sorry if i posted int he wrong area, but my father works in Philadelphia and he told me about a red C55 AMG with Virginia plates sitting in a parking garage near 12th and Market. He said it's been there for at least 2 years and when i visited i confirmed it was a w203. My father works in the bar business so of course he thinks it probably was someone who drank a little too much and couldn't remember where they parked 
I just thought i'd post here just in case the owner is still looking for the car after all these years. And if he/she has upgraded to maybe a c63... I could purchase?
If a possible owner is here please contact me and i can try to help as best as i can.
PS...the car is booted.

booted car means it needs the fees and any fines paid. then you need a trusted shop with a dealers license to aplly for a abandoned title. this will put the car up for auction at the courthouse steps. they buy it then you buy it from them. i say trusted because once its theirs they can sell it for a much larger profit to a stranger.

From what i understand you can only claim abandoned if the car value is under ~4000, but that's from 5 minutes of research so it's probably not true. I'm not as concerned with buying it as finding the driver. If i go to Philadelphia i'll sure to take some pics but i want to be able to use the vin or license plate as a confirmation of the actual owner.

Ok alright i am not "claiming the car", the main reason for my post was to find the original owner not yank the car from Philadelphia, but for a car to sit for years in a parking garage and "eventually become property of the City of Philly"? I understand that's how the law is structured but with no one taking action, i might as well try right?

i think we should collectively steal the car and make it the mbworld c55, take it around to events have santa drive it around hte possiblities are endless. ship it to england and let top gear review it.

Not sure if a dealer can help you, you would have to find the dealer that sold it to get any help most likely and they are not allowed to give you client information. They might contact them for you and that would be the most they would do. I would just call the police station and ask them about it. I would imagine the car belongs to them by now due to non-payment I can't understand why they would leave a car like that so long unless he really is dead or the cars engine is blown I think they would have stripped it by now though. If you send me the VIN I could tell you who the selling dealer is, sure makes for an interesting story.

It should be fairly near the elevator on any of the floors once you go out and to the left twice. For anyone who wants to try their hand it's a parking lot on 12th between Chestnut and Walnut, the fancier of the two on that street area. If it's not there i really do apologize and i guess the lot owner must have done something with it. I'll be scouring the auto auctions looking for it (probably IAA if anywhere).

Right sorry. I was up in Philadelphia for the Winter Break and visited the garage myself. THE RED CAR IS GONE, BUT HILARIOUSLY ENOUGH IS REPLACED ON THE SAME FLOOR BY ANOTHER C55. This one was black and I have posted pictures. Already contacted EuroMotorcars but they haven't replied and it has been a week, which I guess means they don't care. The car is on the 3rd floor(if i recall correctly), but it's definitely next to the stairwell.
