C32 startup problems

C32 startup problems
I just encountered a weird problem today. I came home and parked my car in front of my neighbors house and went back to the car to move it about 5 minutes later. The car wont' start for some reason. When I turn to start, everything is normal with all the right lights and noises but it just won't start. I tried to start about 5 times and it wouldn't start. I came back about 15 minutes later and then the car started but the check engine light is on. I turned off the car and came back and tried to start the car again and the car started fine without the check engine light. About two hours later I drove the car to the market and the same thing happened.
Where should I start to diagnose the problem? Appreciate any pointers before I bring this car in to my mechanic. Thanks.

Crank Position Sensor
Search for it and you will find tons of info. Typically, once it starts to go, when the car is warm, it will not start. Once it cools down, you will be able to start the car. Get it checked soon cause when it really starts to get worse, it can actually shut down while driving.
And my mechanic is awesome if you need someone you can trust, but he's in Berkeley.
