Crank Pulley replaced......what's wrong with this picture?

Crank Pulley replaced......what's wrong with this picture?
Car has 47K miles, crank pulley was original. Just replaced before any damage occurred but what a failure! The crank pulley had moved forward by almost 1/2" due to the rubber failure. Got lucky! Anyone every see a failure like this? I heard that most of the time they "walk in" and not out when this happens. Crazy.

my 32 crank pulley went out at 30k so you arent alone!

I went through the stock crank pulley at ~25k miles then an ASP pulley (built off the stock pulley) after another ~18k miles.

Does anyone know the durability of Eurocharge crank pullies? I know it doesn't have a harmonic dampener so should it last without failure? I'm amazed the stock crank would go out so quickly...

they are dampened pulleys also

The Eurocharged crank pulley is a balancer just a different style than stock. I have been running an early 185mm for longer than I ran the stock pulley and have not had any issues.

If Eurocharged could chime in with a estimation per mileage on durability and any warranty covering this type of wear that was help ease my mind...

I have seen the oem pullies do that pretty often.

Our pulley is indeed internally dampened, always has been. We have customers with 70k on their pullies.

I personally had 60k hard miles on my 185 c32 when I had it...
