Under the car...Very funny. I appreciate the humor, I really do. BUT...I was under the car when I dropped the transmission pan and changed out the filter. I looked around at the time, but could not see it. It is in the front or rear of the tranny? Also, do I put a jack under the transmission at the pan? It seems like that might crush the pan...

This DIY should work for the C32 since Mercedes usually does not change there designs a lot and the transmission is basically the same. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You don't have to remove the (crossmember?) long black piece.
Just the two 13mm bolts from the picture, and the other two, mount-to-tranny.

1.Rear.
2.Yes , u have to put a jack under the transmission (use a piece of wood in order not to crush the pan)

Lizardjack,
Thanks for the pictures. I did it in 30 minutes. That was indeed the easiest thing I have done on my car yet...

Loudandheard,
My mistake. Pictures were invaluable. Now if I could pay more attention to the posts...

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
The dealer charges an arm and a leg to swap those out. Awesome.
