It is totally not advisable to bypass the intercooler. The intercooler cools the air after the compression of it by the supercharger. The act of compression generates a lot of heat. Try running without you intercooler pump and you will find out. It would be the same since no air would be cooled off. Only the fluid that goes through the system would be cooled off and that adds no benefit.
Replaced IC and now it has a rough idle
I replaced the intercooler and everything seemed to go back together fine. I fired it up and it runs really rough at idle. I can smooth it out by accelerating, but it seems to have some power loss and the smoothness only lasts so long. I have several error codes also.
P0105 Manifold Absolute Pressure BAR 0 Circuit
P0300 Random Misfire
P0304
P0305
P0306
I cleaned gunk off of everything. Is this a MAF or MAP problem? What about the misfires? It ran good before replacing the intercooler.

Ropeman- Did you ever figure this out? I am having the exact same issue and list of codes after doing r and r on the intercooler. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!
