wonderful man, i took mine on about a 2k mile round trip from NY to GA and back. it was a pleasure. make sure to check your oil level though!

Yea I took 2 quartz of oil with me, my 55 eats little oil, is this normal for 55 engine? Btw where and when are your meets?

yea its normal to eat oil on long trips, about a quart per thousand is average... that being said when i went from 0-40 to 5-40 my oil consumption dropped a good amount i went from about a quart every thousand to a good 4-5 thousand

Nice pics. Glad to see you are stretching its legs. Not a fan of the chromed out rims, but to each his own. The PO of my C55 had added some chrome "accents" which I promptly removed after purchase, so no judgement.

You should not be losing a quart every 1000 miles. You have a serious consumption or weep/leak issue if you do. That's awful, reminds me of the G35 V6 6spd issues with that much oil loss. I lose about a quart every 5000 miles due to slight head leaks and big engine consumption.
