Sold my C55 :(
After 6 years of wonderful ownership, I sold my C55 (my first amg) to move on to something bigger. My C55 was special to me in many ways and I really had so much good memories with the car.... If you are looking for a W203, C55 would be the best bang for your money (No disrespect to C32 owners
)..
Many people think that the C55 is far below from E46 M3 in handling. That really depends on who is driving.. I agree that C55 is a bit less responsive than M3 (Due to crappy tranny and stock susp) but if you drive your car mostly on public road instead of "closed-course", does it really matter??? I don't live anywhere close to Nurburgurrurururing.. I could careless what a pro driver can do in the ring with any car.. To me, C55 was a lot more practical, more powerful, and luxurious. I had chance to drive to compare and raced against a stock M3 and the real M3 CSL. Surprisingly, C55 was actually a bit quicker (M3 CSL guy was sorta pissed).
Reliability of the car isn't perfect but still very good when it compares to others. No major issues with the car and hopefully, the new owner of my car will enjoy it as much as I did.. I will still stick around on this section of the forum to see what you all are up to.

I can't find a replacement for the C55 that would be an upgrade with a good price. Luxury, stiffness, reliability, and a V8, there's nothing that touches it. I may consider a CLS63 in the future, since they are just so sleek.

Nice new ride, the last-gen CSL makes me drool, and a 63 to boot!
Can't say the same about the new gen... the way MB is going with the upright grill just doesn't look right to me (although the TTV8 is insane!)
