2006 AMG C55, 2008 Volvo C30, 2003 Ford Explorer 4.6L 4x4
The "Beast" is mine!
Hey everybody! Im Bj and just got me a preloved '06 C55. The maintenance book shows it was loved and cherrished. 
Well anyway I used to drive nothing but clunking shifting domestic cars until i bought a '04 Lexus IS300 Sport Design back in '06. The car I really wanted was "The Beast" but the pricetag was a little to steep because i like to pay cash for my cars so I settled for the Lexus. The Lexus of course started making suspension creaking so decided to give the Swedes a try with a '08 Volvo C30 T5. The color is what sold me on the C30 that passion red just pops and with bolt ons and a tune i was pushing about 305hp but with a 3400lbs FWD car i wasnt going anywhere.
I love cars so I look through cars.com, autotrader, etc.., all the time looking for great deals when I came across a 06 AMG C55 with 67k miles and for $12k i thought to good to be true its gotta be a scam. I called, actually got a hold of someone and it was a dealership even better. I used to sale cars so i knew if they had it that low that means 1 of 2 things: 1- they dont know exactly what they have and its worth or 2. they got it dirt cheap as a trade or from an auction so with that info I may be able to talk them doen in price. If not I will still pay their asking come on its my dream car im not gonna pass on it. Well talked them down by walking out the door with my cash. Got down the road and my phone rang the Manager told me to turn around he can make it happen.
Ive had my "Beast" for a week and may need new tires soon.
The pics are of the ad pic online of the C55, then the C55 and the Lexus beside it, and my Volvo C30. I have a 03 Ford Explorer 4.6L 4x4 but its not worth a pic its just my fishing vehicle.
Hope to get to know some of yall and i know i will have questions because thats what lead me here. I guess this site saw my ip so many times in the last week it told me to just register for a free account. lol!

Congrats on the new car!!! I got mine yesterday, there has to be about 5-6 of us AMG newcomers in the the last week!! We've come to the right forum!

You paid $12K for it?!?! Holy good deal Batman! I've seen 100K+ mile 05s going for $15k and you got an 06 in a rare color and decent mileage for less than that! I really wish I could have found my car in another color (it's black like almost every other German car).

Thanks everybody! and 91RS little less than $12k with TT&L to be exact. Preowned dealers get over on people far too much because they pay probably a 1/4 to a 1/3 of what they sell them to people for so i just haggle them. They happened to give in before me on this one because I was gonna just get food when i walked out and turn around and pay what they were asking because i really wanted it. lol!
I love that its prewned because there are awesome forums like this that have answers to almost every question and practically every tune for this car.
My C55 "ma-ma-ma-makes me happay!"
First upgrade is wider 19" rims and stickier tires. She squeals everytime i punch it all the way up to about 110mph.
