Finally got my hands on a C55...
Well guys finally made the transfer over from the c230k side...look forward to meeting all of you on the threads and we'll see where this new journey takes me, as this is a completely stock girl...

PS already bought the 5.5 AMG badges about a week ago, lol...glad I can say i have something to put them on this weekend! (hopefully)

but ya i think the first thing I'm gonna do is the exhaust (cat/res delete)...then air filter, then probably something electronic from midcityengineering, like a bluetooth/ipod integration thing that wires directly into the MOST system...I'd even love at some point to finally have Remote start with that iPhone system they have! lol, but I could never do it on the c230 since its a manual...Then I'll do a tune, but I'm not sure if im gonna go with some headers cuz I would want to tune after the headers with the exhaust and filters etc...so idk, lol so many options, not so much money now! haha plus I'm gonna have to get my hands on some more adjustable camber bolts and have them installed and balanced for my 19" so I dont get crazy uneven wear on my rims like I did at the beginning on my c230, and that'll be like $300+ for install and alignment

well finally drove her home last night and its amazing the difference in feel and driveability between the c230 and c55...its truly a closet monster...only thing I don't like so far is the lag when first gettin on the pedal...i assume its the drive-by-wire lag that they those Sprint Booster were sold to get rid of...and im desperately looking for new maps cuz my house doesn't exist in my gps and it was a pain to get home from NC last night haha...luckily i knew where the mercedes dealership was in virginia beach and when i put in the state and city, i just the POI button and it was the first listing (go figure) haha....
also the guy has an ipod cable coming from the glove box but still has is CDC...so i'm assuming its simply plugged into the "aux" on the back, but i've only seen the aux adition where they simply add a 3.5mm jack to that cut out int he glove box, his is a mercedes ipod cable and when i plugged in my iphone it showed up on the center info display and not on the comand screen...which I'm gonna have to change asap cuz i cant listen to my ipod one song at a time, i have to do it playlists at a time, lol
