Well just finished putting LED's in every orifice and now just obught myself a set of SLk55 6/4pot calipers and a Eurocharge ECU tune...

Gonna be a while till I get the calipers on since I have to wait till next pay check to get the rotors lol, but i anticipate by the end of this month I should have them on with the SS brake lines I've had waiting to be put on...unfortunately I preemptively bought a brand new set of Akebono pads all around so If anyone needs a set I'll sell them at cost if you dont mind!

Ok well I just got the calipers in today...removed the bracket and measured the holes...of course they're nothing really close to circular around the area where the bolt goes in so it wont exactly be completely flush but oh well, i wont see it, lol...so i ordered some custom 2.5mm stainless washers from Misumi and hopefully they should be here in the next couple weeks just in time for me to get the rear rotors and all new pads in...i'll keep you posted

ya unfortunately DCT motorsports aren't too bright considering they shipped the calipers full of brake fluid that leaked out and ate its way through the foam they wrapped them in and through the box. Ended up rubbing the paint off on 2 corners but luckily those corners are in the back of the calipers and not the fronts...his excuse was "oh sorry we usually ship "new calipers" so we didn't think about it...all I could do is shake my head and laugh...

and the "used" pads were laughable at best, the fact that they were trying to sell the rotors and pads at all is pretty humorous, the darn pad sensor was already tripped on them, lol

oh well can't wait to finish this upgrade!

Is the master cylinder on our cars the same size as the ones equipped with these 6-pots standard? Or does something come with these 6-pots and have our MC? I know on sportbikes, we upgrade both most times.

They are the same MC...6/4 is the max size you can go...because while the w203 did not come with an option of the 6/4 the slk and clk did but came standard with the c55 brake set up as well as non sport set up so they kept the same Master cylinder...

Very cool. I'm a Merc-newb (just over 1 year now) and am constantly learning about what can be swip-swapped from model to model.

well they're twice the size so I'd assume lol...plus the rear rotors are bigger...front oem rotors should be lighter since they're 2 piece but I'm gonna be running oem C55 up front until they need replacing before i spend $1000 on the front 2 piece

I'll weight them all once the pads and rear rotors get in, then I can weigh the c55 stuff once it comes off

Just installed the Brabus shifter...

a bit of a pain to install only cuz i had to just make up how to do it, but i figured it out and it seems to work just fine...

i clamped the power wires to the ashtray assembly, found a little convenient press clamp where the wires plug into the lighter, so i just unclamped it and pushed the power wires into there and re clamped them all together and it worked! lol this way no cutting or splicing, i also didnt push the set screws in to the inner shifter rod because it didnt move as it was but mostly due to ease of removing it when the time came to remove it etc (remove the center console that is)
