thanks man...weather is finally cooperating so after work tomorrow morning I'm gonna hit up a big washing and waxing!
the only down side so far is for some reason my e-brake pads seem to be rubbing for some reason at the top pad nearly all the time...and despite adding brake paste, these EBC redstuff pads seem to make a bit of noise when coming to a stop slowly which i find very annoying! plus for ceramics they seem to produce a lot of dust, but they're still breaking in so I'll see in another couple hundred miles if they change up at all...
other than that the stopping is incredible...does not feel like im driving a 3500lb car!

Driving with the 6/4 brakes is night and day compared to stock. My dad has them on his C55 as well. Definitely a must have mod.
Question regarding the brabus illuminated shift knob: Where did you get it? I've been looking to pick one of those up for a while but cant find one anywhere...
Also, you ordered your calipers from DCT?

got the shifter from brabus and the DCT was selling them for a customer of theirs.

just bought the SL55 intake setup from a member, hopefully I'll be getting it this weekend, painting it black and slapping on some red AMG decals I think...also getting the kevlar intake tubes

oh forgot to mention i bought and installed the midcityengineering smartkey remote starter last week! easiest mod ever! lol and sooooo worth the half price i got it for!

got the remote start from eBay for $500 used off a W211...and the door sills are from Jerry at formymercedes.com tell him I sent ya!

ya i had his original ones back on my C230 and they only came in blue...but he's got all kinds of color options now! Give him a call, they're much easier to install now and a quality product still
