Got My Dual Exhaust Finished Last Night - WOOHOO!

I don't think it is a huge deal, how often does a swaybar fail? If upgrading, I would just chop the exhaust in half and put a 2 bolt flange in there if it came to it.

All you'd need to do is pop the rubber hangers off and let the exhaust drop down and you can get right to the swaybar. I think your biggest problem would be the rusty bolts.

Off back to the exhaust shop today.....sound so good but just to feckn loud!
gona fit 4" straight through silencers where secondary cats were.
also going to replace centre resonator with a bigger longer version.
fingers crossed it will still sound good but not so loud!

It looks loud. I had to do the same thing on the last car I had an exhaust made for. $1000 wasted, lesson learnt. Hope you get it right.

Ok plan is......
Run 2 long mufflers from the secondary cat position right back as far as possible so these custom mufflers will be about 2.5foot long.
Then into a X-pipe then straight pipes to tips.
So basically cutting away the whole middle section and replacing with 2 long mufflers.
QUESTION!
Should I have x-pipe at end of these 2 mufflers or have a couple of short pipes joining the 2 long mufflers like a ladder instead?

What a waste of time and money!
I'm going back to standard exhaust system...
First set up was just too damn noisy...
So I went back for a re-work/fix.....this time keeping same set-up but using 2-twin long silencers in middle of car and a x-pipe at secondary cats position....made it slightly less noisy but still horrible drone at 60-70mph PLUS lost loads of low end torque and struggling at 120mph
HATE HATE HATE IT!
Going back to standard set up next week with secondary cats removed

Sorry to hear that. I know exactly how you feel. I have done the exact same thing on another car. 3 exhausts later it was perfect.

Yeah....
To make things worse..
I waited 4 weeks for a pulley and tune from euro charged...
Got the bits fitted then got euro charged to take over remotely last night (7 hour time difference) and the damn USB tune cable is faulty!
Now I can't even drive my car!
AAARGH!
