Got My Dual Exhaust Finished Last Night - WOOHOO!
got my custom made exhaust completed last night.
using 4 tail pipes off a 55amg.
secondary cats removed.
kept standard resonator.
dual pipes from resonator to tailpipes with a 3" baffle before tips.
carbon diffuser.
Its pretty loud but sounds soooooo goooood!
im think it will get slightly less noisy as it gets sooted up a bit.
LOVE IT!

Looks great, is that a standard way of having the tips welded on?
Random question, did you have to cut the bumper on the right side to make room for the second exhaust exit hump of the carbon diffuser?
Any increase in performance?

deff feels more lively especially at higher speeds.
as for the tips im not sure if this is the normal way but the guy does a lot of porsche custom exhausts and he said if this was his own car this is the way he would have done it....he actually tried to buy the car off me.....but until i can afford a C63 this is staying lol
yeah you need to cut the bumper to fit the diffuser.

I've always found exhausts get louder with age and not quieter. Packing material inside the mufflers burns or comes loose and flies out the back. ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
That said, looks OEM.

Looks good. Like Frank said, it will be near impossible to have the rear sway replaced. When I got mine done a few months back, I had to take it to a shop to have it done. It was so hard to do it on jack stands that I just gave up and took it to my mechanic.

lol ya you're screwed if you ever decide to change the sway or if it goes out on you...a DIY just became an exhaust dropping job! but it looks sweet, looks like the job did a nice job...
