Which part number for flat badge?

I've got the flat badge that has the plastic mount that has two spring loaded clips on either side and it uses a real Mercedes emblem. It isn't the metal one with the wing nut screw. The badge blew off somewhere and I just keep forgetting about it. I've searched and found two part numbers, but I don't know if they're the same thing or what. They're both about the same price.

The one I bought had a 204 part number on it, the original bag is up in the attic but I can take it down this weekend to give you the part number of the one I bought. 3 years and it still looks perfect, unlike the previous one the original owner had (probably a knock off)

Yeah, mine looked great it just didn't stay attached! I'll put some epoxy or something on the two tabs on the new one to make sure it doesn't come off again. I've just had the empty base on the car for months, I keep forgetting about it until I wash the car since it blends in with the black paint.

I ended up buying the 204 part number one and it isn't the same one I had before. This one's a little bigger. I just decided to bite the bullet and buy one of DFWdude's badges. So if anyone wants this one, I'll sell it for what I paid for it + a little for shipping. $28.

Yes, this one is slightly bigger. At first I had reservations as well because it was bigger than my old one, but it still fits well and nicely flat on the hood and honestly it's been perfect. My old one had faded halfway and so far 3 years on this current one and the colors are still vibrant and unfaded.

I think the problem is that since the other badge came off so long ago and just the empty badge holder was there, from a distance it looked like nothing was ever there. The only time I really paid any attention to it was when I washed the car! So I just decided to go with the DFWdude one since it's the smallest one available. I probably wouldn't have been happy with the other part number either.

A204 817 06 16 - that is the correct part number for the badge. This is the same badge I have on my C55 snaps right in place. It's about $24-$28 from the dealership.
