Are these EC headers? They don't look like EC. Make sure you check your engine mounts. If they are weak, you may crack the headers at some future point. Otherwise, you should be very happy with these mods. Invest in a tire company stock.

Yes they are EC shorty headers. Here is a before heat coating.......

Good call on Engine mounts. What's your fav source for them? Better have them on hand during the install so I can do everything at once.

My EC headers looked diffrent. All three runners merged together into one. The welds could have been done better.
For parts, I use oediscountparts.com or parts.com.

Mine were the same as this, the middle runner going into the long runner. I had concerns about the welds also.

Looks like a new garrett core and it has been teflon coated.

You can see one of the hoses on the bottom right by the washer fluid res filler (yellow). It's low and hidden.......fantastic kit and perfect fit from Needswings.

Nah........65 MM SC pulley instead. I'm not convinced that on the street a 185 would be better than a 65. The added heat and need for a pulley saver kit kept me with the 65. I'm concentrating on keeping my IAT's down to take full advantage of the added boost, hence why I had my IC heat treated too.

On the dyno I know a 185 puts down higher numbers but on the street I doubt I'd feel the difference and in the end it was not worth it to me.

Marc,

I would be pretty happy with those mods! I still need headers for mine and a retune then I would be set.

Though I would opt for 185 crank since you would have upgraded all of your cooling system components.

Are you installing everything yourself?

Will be installing with the help of my mechanic. He is mobile and comes to your house, the extra set of hands and expertise will be a HUGE help when pulling the SC off. I hear that sucker is heavy.
