Torque curve may be in favor of the E55. I am too tired to look up torque curves for C55 versus E55, but my hypothesis is that the E's torque curve is much flatter, hence more power available earlier.

What is going to happen when say , some other car, beats your new to you W210 E55?
Both cars are sweet, don't get me wrong (looking for a C55 myself) but to sell a car b/c someone got a half a car on you ? Really?

If any thing beat beat you NOT means you have a weaken doll,, com’’ON: you have a unique car, C55 is the one of the most beauty & beast MBs,
sometimes Bicycle could beat a Batman super car, that’s a rule of the street fan,, i personally prefer C55, Fantastic shape & dual Exh. with
a fine rare Models....

I have c55 with kleemann headers, no primaries, no secondaries and has a chip tuning
I've raced with one of my friend who has e55 w210 with kleemann headers,no primaries, no secondaries and has a chip tuning as well as mine. In the race my friend beat my c55 with his e55 (w210) 1999 and I was very disappointed.
My question is this normal or there is something wrong in my c55 ?

Way too many variables here like 1) mileage 2) tires 3) A/F ratio from tune 4) driver's skill and much more which makes it hard to decide who would be faster.
I think on paper with both cars being stock the C55 should have the W210 E55 by a car length give or take. Power-to-weight is 9.7 (C55) vs 10.7 (E55) and torque-to-weight is 9.4 (C55) vs 9.5 (E55).

the rear wheelwell in the 210 is massive, maybe he has 295 summer tires and the 203 has the stock 245 worn out all seasons? Tires play a huge factor in similar cars...

Rear end ratio is a great point here. Can anyone here expand on this with the transmission differences between the two cars? 'AMG Speedshift' trans on my C55 feels great under full throttle, how does the w210 gearbox stack up?

The w210 e55 is one of the biggest sleepers to come out of AMG. I am not surprised you got beat. They are absolute monsters when modded. Also the w210 is very good at putting 100% of its power down to the rear wheel. Larger rear tires and longer wheel base alot with better weight distriubution over rear axle helps as well Im sure.
