The biggest way to find out if you're running too hot is that you start knocking

Not necessarily as your tune has to do more with that then heat does. My SC can be putting out 180* temps and I may not have any knock but I can have 100* temps and knock like crazy.

Correct, you can tune out heaps of detonation if you add enough fuel and retard the timing. However you might make 350whp with 7psi and make 330whp with 10psi, no detonation in either case but the lower boost can allow way more timing and ideal AFR's producing more power. This is common in the turbo world where people up the boost on stock turbo's thinking more boost will always mean more power, and it does but only up to a certain point. Then it is all downhill and usually pieces of engine everywhere.

2004 C32 AMG
Question How small of a pulley?

Hello, new guy here.
I have a totally stock 2004 C32 AMG, that I just purchased last week.
My plans are to do a resonator removal and the SL55 intake mod.
How much smaller can I go on my pulley (safely)?

Thanks.

Ed

Yeah, I'm sure it is now. I've had my kit almost a year now.
