Manual transmission

If manual transmission was offered with the Mercedes-Benz C32 AMG, would pick it over the automatic transmission?

That would be a miss "Summation" on your part. I prefer an automatic

If my C32 was manual, I wouldn't buy the new S4.

I don't have a C32 but I can say that if a manual was offered I beleive it would improve the car and I would look at it more seriously as a car of interest.

I would use up the clutch in three weeks in Atlanta traffic.

If I didn't live here, or had a 2 mile commute, I would be interested.

But, I'm a pansy because I have an automatic car...so I accept that and I move on with my life. (while I blow away 95% of the cars out there that come with a stick)

i believe in europe they have the 6speed tranny that fits the C32, its just a matter of importing it. i know a few guys that might be able to do it. 6-speed on a C32 would really be a badass combination.

NOPE...All the new AMGs only comes with automatic w/ speedshift software. It doesn't matter where you at.

If money is no object, RennTech will perform this modification for you.

Yeah, I was just tying onto your reply, really. Sorry for the confusion.

$6k or $9k for a change-out to a manual transmission is THE definition of money being no object!

What would you do with that 55 motor? Put it in your living room because it would not fit in a C32.

I am surprise that some enthusiants some where has not put the 6-speed from the C320 in a C32.

that may be what they do. I'm not saying it comes STANDARD on C32 AMG cars but many people in europe have converted their cars to 6 speed (i have a picture somewhere but forgot where it is). The C320 tranny would be badsss, the only problem is making sure it can take the power. usually benz trannys are very robust and strong so who knows it might work. a new C320 tranny is probably only $2000 max (new bmw trannys are $1800). so that gives you an idea, the over $4-7 grand renn-tech charges are "***-raping" fees, which comes with the territory for buying AMG benz
