Rapid G, jcanbal, dsC32, and myself had a blast at BeaverRun facility a few weeks ago despite the rain. Here are a few pics of my car on the road course and the autocross. There were 5 C32s present and 3 SLK 32s.

rrf, 255mm on all four corners.
blando, I've been looking at jcanabal's emblem grill. It is really sharp with '03 HID.

Great pictures guys!
I looked at the results on the web and I was wondering...where were all the E55's and CLK55's? I would have expected some to show up to an event like this.

Carl, the only AMG cars were C32 and SLK 32. Oh and a 500E driven by a recent One Lap participant. I expect a full hand at VIR in September.

Norm,
What size tires are you running front and rear? Does that set-up provide less understeer? I was also wondering whether the fronts rubbed, and if you think they would rub on a lowered car?
Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. I wish we could get something like that together here on the west coast.
Thanks,
Tim

I run 255mm Pilot Cups on all four corners. I am also not running stock wheels. Stock wheels will take 245/255 combo with the correct suspension settings & springs this would be the ticket.
jcanabal is running 225 Cups on all four corners.

Tire Size
I'm running a 245/45-17 front /255-40-17 rear Kumho Victoracer combo on a stock staggered wheel set on my RENNtech lowered car without any problems so far. I only noticed a slight rub mark on the front plastic fender liner after an autocross that required a full lock 360 turn around a single cone.
Understeer and grip is not a problem.
FYI...Kumho lists the minimum wheel width for the 245/45-17 Victoracer as 7.5 inches. If you're looking at other tires I'd check the tire manufacturers information before going big on the stock front wheels.
