Anyone running a water wetter additive?
Thinking about trying a bottle of the Royal Purple product. Just wondering if anyone has seen any drop in temps. It would be nice to see a couple degrees drop in IAT's for $15 .
I wouldn't think there would be any adverse effects from it mixing with MB coolant .

We use 40 below in the track cars. Follow the directions and it works really really well. I've used WW in the past and that works too.. but I found that 40 below worked better.

if i had the time i would search through the w163 forum and post a link. Somebody with an ML used Royal Purple in his coolant system and it turned to gel. Cause quite a mess and was in contact with Royal Purple about it. Not sure how it all turned out.

Well with 40 below you HAVE to follow the directions. Or bad stuff like that will happen. Water Wetter is an additive where as 40 below is a standalone coolant.

I tried Redline Water Wetter a number of years ago on a Jeep Grand Cherokee that didn't like Arizona summers. It didn't make any difference in running temperatures. I never noticed any hydrophobic contact angle issues before trying it which could explain the lack of improvement.
