Pondering Seat Upgrade / Swap
Has anyone upgraded the seats in their C32/C55 yet? I'm getting to the point in my C32 where more bolstering would be welcomed.
Are our seats interchangeable with any other AMG seats such as C63 seats, or some C63/CLK63 black series seats?

I know that AirFrcd used to have Recaro Pole position seats in his C32. Definitely more side bolster. There is also a considerable weight reduction to be found with those seats..

unless you are racing it why would you want recaro? Not really comfortable from what I understand...and I bet finding a set of c63/any other newer amg would be stupid expensive, much like the $1000 plus it is for the seatbelts off the new c63 coupe alone!!!!!! lol but interesting idea,

I've been toying with the idea lately as well. I've done some searching and like Wawy said AirFrcd had those pole position's in his car and in my opinion it looked epic. He even had the MB logo on them. Picking up a used set might be ideal, I saw his exact seats for sale on some BMW forum not too long ago but it looks like someone picked them up. I know that the C55 seats are actually an upgrade from the C32, they have more side bolster and look better.
Driving to work this morning is what has me torn...the seat heaters are such a nice addition on a cold day or night. Also the adjustability of the stock seats vs. the pole positions as well as comfortability is quite a downgrade for daily driving.
I'd love some C55 seats, but finding them for a reasonable price is hard.

You could try contacting AirFrcd as he may in fact still have them for sale. I don't remember him ever selling them.....

white and whiter
Just so people know. Pole position has pretty good cushion and the seating position is very good which makes a pretty comfortable ride even after a long drive. My buddy has them in his e90 m3.
Pretty good if you can find them cheap. Saves a lot of weight and makes the rear leg room bigger.

Buckets are nice and all, but I'd like to keep my power and heated seat function.

Those would be nice to have
I will have to check out how the C63 seats differ in mounting and connections from the C32 one of these days when it's not pouring.
