I had the same issue. Never worked. Then when I got the update 080 on MBUX started to work perfectly. Originally Posted by Amjed Kadhim

The Easy/Exit adjustment range on my 2020 CLS 450 is so far forward so that it is totally useless, unless one has the seat all the way forward. Then it moves back a little. When the seat is where I have to have it to drive the car, it does not move the seat back at all for easy entry/exit. Would appreciate any suggestions to make it work.
Hello and thanks a lot for this procédure
Easy entry on my w211 2002 is full opérational now

will be working fine
Is this possible without retracting the seats? I couldn't reach the plug neither front or rear footrest.Originally Posted by Lois Lane
IF NOTHING IS HAPPENING AT ALL, unplug the black plug under the seat with all the wires running to it and then plug it back in. It acts as a reset and your seat and steering wheelwill be working fine

Pull the fuse for the seat module/door control for the affected side and it'll acheive the same result. Originally Posted by baris41

ExploreI have found that if my seat driving position is far back, then entry/exit feature is lost on the seat back/forward motion(even after reset, it works just a couple of times) but the steering does move up/down always. It's as though the system feels there is no need for the seat feature due to it already being way back.
So, I have adjusted the steering/seat further forward for my comfort(as the steering was quite far out) & now the exit/entry convenience always works on seat & steering.
Hope this helps.

Tried this solution, along with several others (2004 SL55). None worked. Finally came across a post suggesting replacing the key fob battery. Did that and bingo! Everything works again. Lesson learned: before trying all the solutions, next time I’m faced with this problem, first thing I’ll try is a new key fob battery (mine was pretty old).

Performing a seat computer reset worked for me and fixed my easy entry/exit issue. (2005 C55, been 3 weeks and working fine, so I wanted to share the process to reset it with everyone.)
Perform while outside vehicle with drivers door open:
1. Turn key to "ON" position 2 (right before start)
2. Press bottom seat cushion button forward, once seat reaches the full forward position, continue to hold for 10 seconds. Then release button. (I heard a reset click after 10 seconds, I assume meant it reset)
3. Hit seat memory button you have your settings set to and allow it to adjust to set position.
4. Get in car while seat is in your set driving position, close door, then turn key to off position and remove. (your seat and steering wheel should now adjust to the exit position setting)
Seat should now work with the easy entry/exit feature again.
For those that don't know about this feature their is a easy entry/exit convience setting you can turn on or off in the settings in the dash using the steering wheel menu control. See manual for how to turn on feature and set seat positions.
Thank you. This worked for me on second attempt on 2010 S350 CDI.Originally Posted by ruben65
