I know this is a dumbass answer, but just jump under there with some calipers and measure it. My guess is 2.5" OD which I am pretty sure was what my C32 was.

I keep my stock exhaust in storage at my office so I measured today...2-1/4"" OD for the split sections of pipe (my dual setup reduces from 2-1/2" to 2-1/4" at the stock mufflers), 2-3/4" OD when it merges to go around the diff.

There are a few places the diameter gets pretty small. Especially between the manifold and the primary cats. Full custom exhaust with Kleemann or MBH headers is worth quite a bit of power in these cars.

I was pretty surprised about that, enough that I took a picture...2" above the primary cats iirc. I'll post the pic when I get home.

Here you go...there's a 1/4" flange where the exhaust connects to the factory manifold so it looks bigger, but it's right about 2".

Aren't you the one who just had the custom S/S system fabbed up that makes supermodels look disgusting?

Whoever it was, that thing looked gorgeous.

EDIT: yep, t'was you alright. Any idea on power that near work-of-art gave?

I'm not entirely sure how much power it gained. I heat soaked on the dyno after the first run, which was way rich. It got me a half second on the 1/4 mile though.

Comparing stock to your custom exhaust, I could see where big gains might be waiting. True duals compared to a 2-1-2-1-2-type system () looks like huge gains.

Dre's exhaust is similar to mine and he got a huge gain. His car is damn near as fast as mine and he's N/A. How that he's got the cams and pulley installed, who knows.
