Intermittent Sputter/ light throttle

My car has recently been having an itermittent sputter when on light throttle. It is very pronounced and usually happens only before the car gets up to operating temperature however there have been some instances when it happens on decell coming to a stop.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Vehicle is an 05 C55.

Thanks,
Derek

Have you tried a throttle reset?

Clean your MAF and do a thread search for computer reset, pretty easy stuff.

Yes Sir. The hold pedal for 5 seconds method....unless you are referring to a different reset?

I did this reset and it doesn't seem to have fixed the problem. I am going to clean the MAF tonight and just incase that doesn't work I have a new one on order.

Hi there Quickvr4 - I was wondering how were you able to resolve your sputtering issue? I have a clk430 and have been experiencing the sputtering issue when I hit the gas, and most recently while idling after a 45 min drive! Any info would shed light on mine. Thanks!
