Went to MIR with C55 AMG- 13.103 @ 108.58, but have some concerns

Hey guys dont really post here much, but long time member. I went to the drag strip with the C55 over in Budds Creek Maryland and have some questions/concerns about the night. I got 3 runs in that night. The car got drastically slower 2nd and 3rd runs even though it was getting cooler pretty quickly. Want to know if any members can shed some light.

1st run was 81 deg.
13.103 @108.58

2nd run was 75 deg.
13.297 @ 103.91

3rd run was 71 deg.
14.028 @ 103.47
(Lots of wheels spin this time even though on all runs ESP was ON and in auto mode on S)

Mods are :
Eurocharge ECU/TCU and Dual Exhaust piping w/ resonator delete w/ mustang GT X-Pipe and stock mufflers.

What were your 60' times? Actually, can you post your slips? I can't help but think that running with ESP on would kill your et if you have traction issues.

Yeah I'll post it when I get back from work.
I'm starting to think that something went on that made the car slower, and don't think its ESP related.

Yeah it's weird to have your trap speed lower like that. Even when My car switches to second gear early due to c32s stupid trans I still only deviate 1-3mph at most. With TCU you won't get that most likely. Unless it suddenly got really windy or something. Did you hear any noises?

Yeah thats what I'm thinking its could be power related.. Like the ECU or maybe is it possible that the engine was heat soaked?

Run #3 14.028 @103.47

Lots of wheel spin, not sure why. 2 runs before not a hint of wheel spin. All parameters were the same for the 3 runs. Auto-S w/ ESP ON for every run.

You should turn ESP off when doing runs, or put it in dyno mode. ESP cuts power for stability. The rest is your skill with the pedal, don't expect a good run with just a quick stomp. Too much hp, not enough rubber.

The first time I ran my c32 which was in the 1/8 I went a 8.56e.t. and was very disapointed since I have right many mods, and was also running bfg drag radials so spinning wouln't be an issue. I didn't think the ESP would have needed to be turned off running a drag radial, to make a long story short I went from a 8.56 to a 7.99 with ESP off. With the ESP on, it was as if it still thought it needed to to reduce the power going down the track even though spinning wasn't an issue.

Thanks for posting the slips 1320, believe it or not, the .061 second difference between run #1 and #2 is a big deal as far as ET. The .584 second difference between #1 and #3 is HUGE as far as ET.

You gain between 21mph to 21.97 mph from the 1/8th to the 1/4 or all 3 of your slips...no wheelspin once you're past the 1/8th, so your power is consistant; the variation in your ET should be down to your launch.

Like mo01 says, my best times have been ESP off on DR's. I'm planning on heading to MIR for the last rental Ahmad does there this year...if you make it, I'd be happy to let you try my DR's

The best mod I've done to my c32 would be drag radials, well that and a S/C pulley. I seriously wont go to the drag strip without them, the e.t. gain, the seat of your pants feeling when you launch, and consistency is well worth it. Like dre5373 said always run with your ESP off. When it's on can do some wierd things at the drag strip. Between tire spin, and ESP being on, these will definitely leave you scratching your head why e.t.'s are all over the place.
