I'm a dirty noob, help me!!! Re: Airbox removal.
So, I want to do my once a decade DIY work. And I chose, to replace the air filters. I searched the forum, like a good noob, and all the DIY write up links are no longer working. So I read what people said, and wanted to confirm I got this right.

Please, come in.. ridicule.. laugh.. mock.. and then help me. I don't want to end up plugging my supercharger into my lighter socket.

Remove the cover (red).

Unscrew torx (green).

Thats it? Do I have to mess with the back (purple)?

I love you all. Now, flog me verbally like the good noob I am.

Yup, you are good to go. You will need to disconnect the purple with the clips (but it doesnt look like you have any clips by looking at the picture provided - maybe thats why the throttle reset doesnt work? )
Buy some big ring clamps in replacement of the OEM ones - I bent mine and the screw ring clamps are easier anyway.

Wait, why do I need to remove the clips (that don't exist on mine.. f&^%)? Does the purple need to be removed?

And no clips? WHAT?!? I haven't had any issues. Should I be skeered?

I have it on good authority that the throttle reset was a gimmick made up by an Admin to see how far he could spread the rumor. Kind of like big foot, lochness, and cool 335 owners.
