Well guys, sad to say I just got the call from the body shop and he said the car is a total loss. I have yet to hear from the insurance company, but when I do they arent going to like what I have to say.
I have receipts for upgrades (paint, brakes, etc.) that have been done in the past few months that add up to about double the kbb of the car.
We'll see how it goes though, I wont let her die without a fight!!

Well..........sad to say, I think I'll be parting it out.
Not sure what I'll be able to pull off the car since I've sold most of the stock parts haha but I'll make a thread with the details.
The insurance company's initial offer surprised me, but I am going to try to get more.
Thinking about an E55 or C63, cant decide.

Damn, VERY sad to hear brother! VERY SAD! What complete BS. Perhaps the most tastefully modded 32 on MBWorld. It sucks to see her fall victim to financial discretion. Such is the price we modders pay I suppose. Makes me afraid to drive my girl...smfh.
I get the intoxication of W211 E-class AMG power, but could never accept the lack of cornering ability that would be associated. C63 gets my vote!!! If 6.3 liters grows "boring", a Weistec upgrade is just a savings account away!!!
Bust out those receipts and fight tooth and claw! I did with my Tacoma, and ended up getting within $2K of what I paid for it 10 years before!

I'm going to try my best to get as much as I can to help me move forward. I totally agree, but right now with the price difference in the C63 vs. an E55 you could easily slap some coil overs on the 55. SO, I'm still up in the air on things, I'll prob wait till end of summer to make a decision, get a couple test drives in maybe.
