Weistec 3Litre SC for C55 Project
Project starts on July 1st. Car dropped off and all systems go.
I will keep a journal of the progress and posts weekly until car is complete.
My next project immediatly after this one will be a Stage 3 MaxPSI turbo project for my '06 M3.
Would love to see how they fare side by side down the strip before year-end!

Nice! Hopefully it'll all turn out nicely. I know the fellow with the W208 CLK55 was haing some issues with the Weistec blower install on his car, but the electronics in that are a generation older than the C55. I take it the car is at Weistec directly? I'm keen to see what they do with the electronics.

Definitely subscribed... How much boost are you going to be running? Gonna have to fight against that compression ratio but given your track record... you know what you're doing!

They will use my car to develop a 2.3 litre kit first while simultaneously developing a belt and pulley system for the 3.0 litre kit as a stage 2 and even stage 3 for those cars like mine that have extensive mods and lower compression ratios.
I cannot reveal to much as the competition will be watching closely but Weistec will publish/post something with pictures once the kit(s) are complete.
I don't want to burst their bubble but believe me. Soon the NA 55 crowd will have a kit that will likely be more powerful than the W211 E55Ks with their stock kompressors.
DynoComp was a able to MAF tune my car to run 12PSI on the Kleemann Autorotor without any problems so I don't think ECU reprogramming will be a problem with Weistec either.

Kleemann 1.8/2.0 litre SC was maxed out at over 10PSI. The power band of the dyno I will post later clearly shows it.
The 3.0 litre on higher boost will likely make more power than modified W211K cars with the OEM supercharger.

The turbo M3 will also be an issue without connections.

I know that Jimmy did this with his Black Series last year and had some later success (despite some initial teething problems). I am so looking forward to your results!!

Problem with MAF cars is that they are hard to tune. Rudy Compart is able to get the C55 to run on a W211 ECM by totally rewiring it and has done this on quite a few SRT-6.

X2, the Autorotor I have maxes at about 10 PSI running a tune and Blkbnzzs smaller pulley. The stock pulley on the Autorotor will only give about 5-6 psi total.

I've seen Rudy's work over at Speedriven and its good, real good!! He has an AWD C32 and I've driven it. Took a C32 engine and put it in a C lass 4 matic and it rocked. He's done some of the best W211 conversion to SRT-6 that I have seen as well.
I should have done the swap out when he was regularly at Speedriven and regret NOT having done it since tuning with OUR MAF is so limited in what we can do.

I'm doing a Stage 3 turbo on my M3 since HPF and MaxPSI has proven applications for the E46 M3.
Less trial and error but somewhat uncommon is the perfect blend.
