a car that can't do the throttle reset.
I never have hard feelings. This is the internet. I laugh at everything.

i've THOUGHT about it....but i'm very happy with the sound i have. i dont want to risk it being too loud or having drone on the highway without the secondaries.
in addition, money is getting kind of short, approaching 250k in debt and all....so modding has essentially stopped for me at this point. just sticking with maintenance until i start residency next year. i still have that oil catch can and C3 reservoir sitting in my trunk ha

I have to admit I felt that way for about a month or so before taking the secondaries. It sounded so much better than stock and I was worried about drone increasing/emissions.
I can say that I have never regretted removing the secondaries. Same level of drone, but much richer grown over more of a variety of engine speeds. I don't even have headers tho

i loved the res delete. changed the pitch of the exhaust. and then the headers made it just sound awesome...cold start, idle...it has a nice deep sound to it for a V6...WOT, it gets loud.
my concern is that the secondary delete would make it too loud. i've heard of people doing the res delete + secondary delete without headers and it wasn't a problem...basically a louder res delete.....i just dont want to potentially ruin something i already like. i love my headers + res delete combo
that being said, if i didnt' have headers, i'd probably do the secondary delete

and there is actually benefit of doing it in the c55. years ago, hooley posted a dyno of gaining 10whp from secondary deletes on a c55. no such power gain has ever been seen on the c32 with this delete

im back in nebraska now, so i dont have to worry about emissions, but yeah, i was really bummed to find out they wouldnt cut em out. id do it myself if I had access to a welder and lift :/ Im gonna check out the headers from needswings, im assuming theyre probably the most reputable manufacturer?

would these fit on c32?

They would probably fit, but I highly recommend going with a reputable brand for something like headers. The last thing you need is quality problems/cracking/fitment issues.

I Would hate to spend the money and find out they don't fit....lost money in the purchase and install labor if you don't DYI would equal what a set would cost made specific for the c32.

I would find some decent equal length c32 ones. It will be worth it in the end. Otherwise i am sure the needswings ones would be good, their products are usually very good.

sounds great uzi! what mufflers/resonator are you running? Do you have the secondary cats deleted?
#41
Thank you The cats haven't been touched and the stock resonator is still in place. I just have a muffler delete and 3" piping from the res back. It sounds awesome in person! My only complaint is the drone when i'm on the highway, usually between 2300 - 2800 rpms. If only we had a 6th gear :P I plan on having a shut off valve installed to block off one side though.
