a car that can't do the throttle reset.
trunk button.. opens trunk fully?
Question for my fellow 203 AMG brethren. When you press the trunk release button, does the trunk open fully or does it barely just pop open?
Thanks.
Sincerely,
pointman the noobboy.

Well, I just got back from a grand voyage around the interweb and found many answers. And now, I shall share them with you.
If your trunk pops fully open, or barely moves.. it is not broken. There are springs that control this. And the good news is that we can adjust this on our own. With the trunk open (obviously) pull back the side felt lining. Its panels that are between the tail lights and the bottom hinge of the trunk. You will see the springs, and very near the tail lights is a hinge with three holes. Just move the spring to the desired spot for the desired amount of trunk pop pop. I did it by hand, and found it easiest.
Good luck, Godspeed.

Thank you! I knew it was the springs but about a year ago just removed the hazard sign for less weight. I thought I had to buy new springs. Will play with it later.
is this a new and improved 'Pointman' we are dealing with here?
I am a little concerned

lol. Nah, same dude. I try to share when I find something. Your vision was probably clouded by my usual awesomely terrible new threads.. the thought provoking juggernauts.. like "headrests, down or up" and "is this screw removed to clean the air filters".

Freaking brilliant! LOL When I got my car is popped nicely up, now barely moves... I never really went in to see how to fix. But this has surely solved another bill at the stealership... Thanks bud!!
