Spotted twice in two days, Silver C55 in Woodland Hills on Ventura (Question)

Spotted twice in two days, Silver C55 in Woodland Hills on Ventura (Question)
On Friday, a silver C55 blew past me on Ventura blvd. in Woodland Hills by Woodlake. I was driving a silver w208 Clk55. I saw the car in nearly the same spot again on Saturday night around 7:00 p.m. If the driver is a member on here, I'd love to know what you've done to your exhaust. It sounded fantastic.

Mine is more pewter but similar to brilliant silver, may have been me

I have a silver c55 and live in that area, but I'm almost positive you saw my friend Milan's. He just bought it with 49k miles and has full custom exhausts. Only other c55 that's silver that I know of in the area

Yeah it was me Lol, I have an 05 c55 with oe tuning k&n filters and my resonator and secondary cats removed I did it differently though my car is now a true dual setup now each muffler has its own piping now connecting to the primary cats, I did it at a corvette shop in canoga park/west hills area, if you have any more questions just let me know thanks for the compliment, I used to have a w208 clk55 and I had 2 c32's I was very close to getting an 09 c63 but it was just a little but out of my price range I actually drove to Scottsdale Arizona to get the c55 I have now and I don't regret it one bit

Yeah it's on topanga and shermanway it's called "the corvette shop". However the guy is kind of iffy and might now remove your cat if he knows its a cat so I would suggest going somewhere else first, take out your resonator and then go to to vette shop so that your secondary cat appears as if its a resonator and just ask them to remove your resonator they would have no clue lol. They're good guys though and I like the workmanship from them.

Welcome to the forum! 
I was looking to do proper duals on my C55 soon and was curious if you have them separate all the way back or if there is an x-pipe at some point. I hear pros and cons of an x-pipe (harmonizing the cyl banks, etc etc), but it sounds like you have the best combination for sound.
I have secondaries and resonator out and I love the sound mine makes, but I wouldn't mind more growl. Also, the whole 2-1-2 stock routing always bothered me...
If the desire to upload a video/sound clip wells up within you- just go with it

Lol for a Mercedes enthusiast I will and thanks I used to have a MBworld account when I had my clk55 but stopped using it for a long time but yeah the piping has a diverter valve kind of like a small pipe welded between both pipes to stop the air from being too free flowing ill upload some pictures soon if I can get my car on a lift or at an angle that shows it, thanks for the interest It sounds very similar to a c63 with exhaust mods especially since I had my transmission tuned as wel,l it shifts fast if I try :]
