Anybody Try Volk Racing LE-37's (16 lbs. in 18")?

These look like the lightest wheels I can find in 18" sizes. Should reduce unsprung weight by 8-9 lbs. per corner. Is this a good price?

18 x 7.5 LE37 $550
18 x 9.5 LE37 $585

Anybody have a pic of a black C32 with these rims in silver? Or any photohop experts care to take a stab at it?

Try these links.

Here they are on a silver Audi. I think they'd look much better on a black car.

For photo shop purposes the wheels from the Audi pic above would probably be a good match for the perspective of the C32 pictured on this link:

Email Eric @ SPP for fitments (spp1@pacbell.net). He provided the info. for the 18" fitments for the C32. I meant to ask him about 8.5" widths for the front but I ended up getting a quote for the 7.5" ones.

I've asked the Volk dealer to forward all of the applicable fitment info. for the C32 in 17, 18 and 19 inch wheels.

Dont get too light of wheels on a car so heavy like ours. I would say 20 is the low limit for me.

Volk is supposed to make some extremely strong wheels. I wonder if they offer a guarantee on them.

People have been getting the same 17-18lb rims for my acura CL/TL (3510lbs) and it's been fine. Volk makes some very strong rims along with Racing Hart (non-EVO).

The SSR Comp's are very light and strong wheels, forged.

I have a set of 17"x8.5" in the front of my AMG C43. They weigh 15.4 lbs. I also have a set of SSR Comps in the rear 17"x9.5", that weigh 15.5lbs. The rear wheels had a 114.3mm x 5 bolt pattern but were redrilled to 112mm x 5. The fronts are 112mmx5 stock, for an Audi S4.

Jeff,

You have email. I'm very curious about this redrilling process. I have those wheels in 18's on my GS400 and would love to put a set on my C32. I wonder if they'd clear the brakes in either the 17's or 18's.

C32 fitment

Has anyone gotten information on the possibility of putting these rims on a c32? If so, I'd like to know what offsets, size, and model of Volk wheels will fit on the C32.

tia,
Jon L.

I thoroughly investigated the SSR Comps a couple of months ago for my C32. According to Luke at Tirerack, the comps will not fit the C32 without 10 mm spacers. Check the thread on "tires, wheels, and brakes"

2002 C32
I was wondering the same thing. It looks like all the Volks come in a 5 x 114 pattern instead of a 5 x 112 pattern. They come in ET30 offset, but I think a spacer in the rear might be necessary for fitment. I was just wondering if anyone knew for sure whether or not Volk makes a wheel that fits the C32.

thanks again,
Jon L.
