I am debating on buying a 2006 c55 amg with 56,000 miles on it. $23,400. I'm am kinda weary bc I just had a BMW 02 m3 and the tranny messed up. Could you help me on deciding whether or not to buy the c55?

I have never driven that yearmodel of m3. My guess is that m3 is more balanced for active driving. But for a overall considering performance, space and maintinence the mercedes is a better choice.

it reallly sucks because these are such nice cars and its ridiculously expensive to have a body shop replace the metal and fix the rust spots correctly. i have 4-5 spots each about 3-4 inches long that i have fixed my self very cheaply since my car is black and i can hide it, although it looks crappy if you take a close look, but at least the rust isnt speading.
good luck beautiful car you have regardless!!!!

The rustproblems was greatly reduced when they introduced the faceliftversion
in late 2004. C55 is a facelift version.

Just did the service B today and also had one fog light replaced due to breakage.
Service was due in approx 6000km / 3800miles but i decided to make it in advance.
I am very pleased with the workshop. They only work with "older" MB. Fair prices and professional treatment.

What service B consist of?
I've changed windshield year ago also. Thinking of a new grille too. How much new grille costs in Sweden?

The grille is not ordered yet. Swedepat recomendations will be the cheapest alternative.
