New guy in Crofton/Annapolis area
Hey guys I finally purchased my 2006 C55 this past weekend. Very low miles (37K) and in excellent condition. Im new to the rear wheel and V8 game, but not new to modding cars. My last platform was the Mazda DISI (MS3) and I sold that to get this car. I had it fully bolted and custom tuned and it put down 313hp/346tq on a dynojet. It was fun to drive but since having this I have already fallen in love with the sound and beefiness of the V8. Looking forward to learning this platform and hopefully meeting some members from around this area.

Ill post some pics up soon its been raining the past few days and just got the windows tinted yesterday. My plans right now are to start off with a DCAI and a Eurocharge tune. Eventually I will install headers and delete the sec cats.

Congrats Jake! I'm not too far away, right up by Towson in Baltimore. Most of the local MBWorld C55 guys are on this thread from a few weeks ago:

Welcome to the forum man! You're real close to the MIR drag strip down that way. EDgineered and hit that a little while back, will let you know next time we go.
If you want to hear what it sounds like with no sec cats and resonator, let me know

Thanks for the welcome and I would love to see what it sounds like. That can help me make my decision on whether or not I delete the resonator.
Side note, where did you get your sec cats deleted at?
Does anybody in this area want to start a meet maybe like last Saturday or sunday of the month? We can all meet somewhere like a restaurant, or meet centrally and convoy to a restaurant? I'd be willing to do the coordinating with any restaurant we choose. Let me know, Ill also post up a new thread to see if there is any interest.

I'd definitely be down for doing a meet-up regularly. It's tough with all of our busy schedules and the traffic around here, but we could definitely find something. I just bought a condo in Fairfax so I've been real busy getting everything situated there, but it should calm down within the next month or so. So let's see, Ed in Rockville, me in Fairfax, you in Crofton, dre in Towson, couple other guys down in Alexandria and Woodbridge down 95 south way...looks like the only real central place would be around the DC clusterf*** haha. I will say though, I don't mind driving a little bit of a distance. We should find some windy back roads somewhere
