C55 Stock Suspension -> KW V2
Just upgraded to KW V2 due to stock suspension going bad. Anyone interested in the left over parts? The springs are good...
Thanks for HG Motorsports for an excellent install.
Ride is considerably better, not harsh, wife approved.

Glad you're enjoying the KWs! It really is amazing how comfortable they are.
Good luck with the sale! If you sell them to someone local, I'd be happy to hook them up on the installation

Are the KW softer than the C55 stock suspension? I've been looking at options for something that is stiffer and handles better.

I would also like to improve handling, but not so keen on extra stiffness and don't want to lower the car...

Amen! I've had the AMG for two years now; bought it after six years with an autocross-prepped Miata. I really miss the Miata because the way it handled, but not the way it rode across my potholed neighborhood!

Good to know, but does anyone know if it actually improves the handling much of the C55? I'd really like to get Bilstein PSS9 but it's just so freakin' expensive...maybe I'll just hold out for when I can justify $2k for coil overs

The coilovers are set to optimal height which is probably a good 1/2 to 1 inch lower than stock. It hurts the front end clearance but doesn't bottom out at all.
The original parts including springs are available to anyone who wants to pick them up from me in San Diego. No shipping - sorry. In a few days, they will probably go into the trash if no one wants them.
HG: if you can use the parts, let me know and I can drop them back off to your shop.
