2003 CL55
3000 stall Torque converter special C32/C55 with 722.6

We ran 4 extra 3000 stall converters set up specially for the power and Torque range of the C32.

A Few Specs,
3000 stall RPM
10 lbs lighter than stock (less rotating mass for engine to turn)
HD Torrington bearings to reduce drag
3 HD Raybestos locking clutches VS the weak 2 clutches
HD internals parts

what are benefits? I have 208 clk55, will this with for me? Im modding car for frequent weekend road course track events, what are pro/cons for this?

Depending on what type of road course and track events, in that I assume you will be de-acclerating and accelerating from low to high speeds a lot? If so, you will be a lot quicker out of all the low speed or hair pin turns, by allowing your engine to be into the higher sweet spot, where it makes more power.

The 30% lighter converter will also free up power and help the engine rev quicker. These are locking converters, so they lock up at low speeds and are very streetable or trackable. If you set up your car for road course work, then this converter could be a nice advantage over other autos in your class.

With inst of high stall tq conv is any ecu or tcu tuning necessary?

If when my trans goes I'll consider this mod during r&r.

No ECU tune is needed as the converter does not effect air fuel, timing or boost at all and TCU is also not needed, unless you just want custom shift points or raise shift rpm, etc for street or strip needs.

I'll prob have EC do it.

* Change rear main at same time.
* Svc Trans inspect at same time.
* Consider diff servo's.

My clk is making stock e55k power with ported heads cams kleemann blower. With this tq conv work in my app, or would I need the e55 version?

Car is an 04 clk55.

Car is an 04 clk55.
PM me your dyno (or post it) and I will match your car up with the right stall, based on your peak torque. If you are still naturally aspirated, then your torque will come in a little higher and a converter will be a huge benefit for you set up. We have them in stock and can ship the same day.
