Sylvania headlight restoration kit - very impressed
As my C55 on DD duty reaches 150,000 miles, the headlights have the obvious aged yellowing. I've previously used the Meguiar's headlight kit, with good results. But it came back, and this time in doing some research online it looks like the Sylvania kit was recommended as one of the best ones out there.
Purchased it on Amazon since no local stores seem to carry it. The sanding and prepping proccess is somewhat disappointing, as your headlight turns out clean, but it's not really gleaming and you're .
But the liquid gold here is the UV clear coat that you wipe on as the final step. This REALLY makes your headlight come alive. The Meguiar's kit had a protectant gel to rub on; this is not like that, this rubs on like a solid clear coat layer.
Headlights turned out amazing compared to what they were before. They look completely brand new they look so good. Definitely wanted to make a quick post here to recommend the Sylvania kit to folks here.
PS - it only works on plastic headlights - tried it on the fogs and it just doesn't work well on glass.

I second this with 5 months of good results.
The box says 30 minutes for the process, but I think I took more like 60+ minutes as the condition was poor and I wasn't sure how much I was suppose to. I used Mother and another one in the past but it always starts to get foggy after few months. I was skeptical and ready to convert to Xenon, but so far looks still very good.
Oh, watch the clear UV coat as it could streak on paint. I decided not to do anything as I noticed the next day and, well, too late.

Good to know! I need to use something on my wife's vehicle. Now put some XPEL or 3M film over the lens to prevent it in the first place and you'll be set!

One year has passed since i polished mine with simple Autosol creme as first stage after sanding away the clearcoat.
2nd stage a medium polisher
3rd a fine
4th wax.
No problems what so ever.

4 month update - headlights are still crystal clear, like if they were new. Sylvania headlight restore is an A+

10 months report
Well, part of the lens is starting to fog again. Most part is clear, but I'm guessing I have a few months before I go back to where I started. No, I didn't put XPEL or 3M film but was hoping I didn't need.
Wawy: Did you ever try the kit with the film? If yours hold-up, I might give it a try again but otherwise might just convert to Xenon.
Good luck!

I've found that applying 3M afterwards definitely helps, and hides any imperfections that may not have been removed with the restoration kit.
On another note, I recently used the Turtle Wax headlamp resto kit to fit some scratches on my 911's instrument cluster (which was scratched when I was removing it, so as to fit KMH gauge faces). Worked well in that application too. Reason I chose the Turtle Wax kit was merely because the supplied applicator pad is very small, much easier to use in my case.
