Bay area dealer

Any of you guys know any nice sales in the bay area? I went to symthe today, and the sales I met was an axx, if anyone that could recommend me to someone else, that'll be super, thanks.

Also, do you guys know if I could switch sales if I don't like the guy?

thanks.

Go back into Smythe and ask for Autumn Ayers, she is their top salesperson for a good reason.

I got mine at Smother's European in Santa Rosa. If you know what exactly you want, call up a few dealers and ask what's their best price. Many will tell you they don't negotiate. If so, go for a visit and tell them you'll think about it. They will call you back with incentives.

The Redwood Shores Autobahn is okay. I don't like the sales people their though. I've heard Smythe is a good place.

Dealer Down South

When I was ready to purchase my car I called all the dealers in the bay area none of them would negotiate pricing over the phone.. I ended up purchasied my car down south in Encino LA Area. The sales person was really nice. I was surprise that they were willing to deal over the phone. If you want I can give you the salesman name. This was the best car buying experience i ever had especially for a mecedes. I look really young so I was surprise they didn't blow me off like the other dealerships.

It was worth going downsouth to pick up my car.

email me if your interested.

Hands down

Autobahn Mercedes in Belmont/Raiston by Oracle are the best in service and sales...everyone is friendly, the service rep behind the counter is hot too if you need any additional eye-candy.

IMO, Smythe European in San Jose is the best dealership so far, yet the largest Mercedes dealership in bay area.
When I took delivery of my car last month, I saw couple of AMG cars like C32, CLK55, E55, S55, and SL55 on their lot.

Yeah, they are so good they can't sell their cars and therefore, you see those hot cars collecting dust on the lots. Good job on proving me right. And personally, all the salespeople there are very uptight and arrogant...dunno, they might just be racist against asians?

How old are you? I am 23, and when I walked in, they were so FXXXXXX rude. Plus I was already driving a C32, and as if I can't pay for a new car....

The most important thing is to find a good salesperson, regardless of what dealership they come from.

Smythe used to be a wonderful place as members of my family have bought 6 cars from them. However, when I went shopping there more recently, all the people we dealt with in the past had been promoted out of sales, or had simply left. And what remained was pretty disappointing.

I ended up buying my car from Autobahn. I'd recommend my sales person there, but he's recently left to run a branch of a financial services firm.

In the end, keep searching until you run into someone who actually does take care of you.

If you search on the c-class w203 forum for my handle, you'll get some pics of my car with all my Brabus mods etc.

Thinking of dropping in an e55 engine soon...the cv8 is just too expensive!

Anyone there is great...I bought several cars there, all with a different sales rep, and they all treated me well and respectfully.

But for service or repairs talk to David Sands...cool guy, knows ins and outs of cars and aftermarket tuning stuff, a car freak as well so, definitely easy to talk to.

a specific name would be great, I hate calling and just randomly asking for a person, could you PM me if you don't want to post it?

Beshoff Motors between Capitol Expwy and Tully Road are pretty good dealership. I've bought 2 Mercedes from them. They treat you with respect unlike Smythe on Stevens Creek. Smythe just ignored me. My clothes were pretty dressed down (shorts, sandals, and t-shirt). I guess they thought I can't afford it. I've heard excuses in the past that they're too busy at time, but it doesn't take a lot of time to say "Hi, I'll be right with you in a moment."

BTW, the Beshoff Motors building is one sweet building. Best car building by far in the Bay area. IMO.

I agree with gapriderz go to Beshoff Motors in San Jose. I walked in there in a sweatshirt and beatup jeans and they were very quick to approach me and quite friendly too. I have never been treated so good at dealership before. Even though I didn't have the money right then(neeed to deposit and tranfer money from other accounts) they still worked with me and allowed me to drive my CLK home that same day.

gapriderz right they do have a beautiful showroom and a large selection of cars.

everyone is racist against asians unless they know who they are dealing with. i walked into Cutter Motors here in SB and they don't even look at me. i walked right out and went to LA bought a C32 from House of Imports (mostly chinese people) where i recieved service and alittle bit of dignity.

PS... im almost 22

Sorry to hear that Silva32....the only thing that should mattter is the color of your money. As long as it green it should be all good. If they're really in business then the customer should matter after all a sale is a sale.

My dealer always takes good care of me...I mean after all when you throw down $50-60K shouldn't be that way.

dude, you'll be surprised how an *** some dealers could be.

The biggest reason they treat us like this is b/c they r jealous that someone our age could afford 60-70K for a car....
